Seth Cauman -Soma Buena Vista- Bought for the pretty teal mixte frame and built up with the help of SLC's finest mechanics at the Collective. Now, it's my forever bike for riding around town and looking fancy. Featuring 30 speeds (so many!), scavenged Chris King parts, and a bronze bell!
Taylor Walls
Chromey Fairdale Weekender built as a road/light gravel touring beast. Frame bought from Margie at Saturday :) Taken me around 3 different countries, loaded up with treats galore. Custom wheelset, some vo, and mishmash of used parts
Courtney Wiley - Schwinn Signature Women's Standpoint 27.5" Mountain Bike Size Medium. Only has a phone holder and water holder currently! But gets the job done
Kyle Harline
smooth like butter road bike 😎😎😎
Chase Roberts
Burro mini bike from the crazy estate sell. 3x20 hiking boot bike. 3x9 for some reason, hydraulic rim brakes. Idk man it’s cool
Brian Harris
Specialized Chisel in the most glorious purple. Confuses everyone. Is it a gravel bike? Is it Mountain bike? Sure.
Rachael Hall
Surly longhair trucker
Maxwell Hughes
Doppo Locust 27.5 MTB. Biggest SimWorks fan in SLC. Ween bevy holder. Kawa frame bag. KK slider charm on the saddle.
Jacob Magsino
Trek 69er Single Speed all terrain absolute ripper
Mike Freeman
Cinderella story for this one. Pulled this lugged steel 1992 Bianchi Peregrine out of a dumpster earlier this month and have given it a second life. Complete build with dynamo wheelset, front basket for goodies, SRAM drivetrain, Brooks C-17, Schwalbe Big Apples for a smooth ride and a Klunker bar to keep the ride upright and relaxed.
Clint Campbell
It's Budlight! Old rigid mountain bike living it's best life. Likes long walks on the gravel and hanging out with buds. White Industries cranks for puttin' down power, Dynamo hub for keeping the lights on, and a Spin rear wheel for street cred. The rest of it is a hodgepodge of Sim Works, XTR, and XX1. Has a seat with flames because it's fast.
Gibson Greene
All ti everything custom Walty polo bike. Profile hubs/light bicycle carbon rims. Boost front and rear. Lewis LHT brake. Idk. It’s sick, it’s invisible and can only do one thing.
Will Dietz
This is my dropbar Poseidon Redwood, purchased on Facebook marketplace and mostly kept as-is besides the yellow bar tape for a bit of a lemon-lime theme. 2.3in and 2.2in tires right now, great for attempting a century and failing due to nightfall, but better for bikepacking on dirt roads and simple singletrack. The 1x10 drivetrain has been excellent, and brought me to Brighton for a splitboard session last spri
India Alfonso
Jolene the queen and biking machine! She’s a 2017 Sand County by Advocate Cycles and she can do it all - gravel, roads, bikepacking, you name it! Jo is one of a kind with her tree-lined seat tube and pink accents. I will treasure her forever and hope y’all enjoy her too :)
Max Mauldin
1992 Diamondback Topanga. All steel, all real. The whole bike exists because I needed a home for my dope ass Tumbleweed Persuader bars 🙏 they’ve changed my life and I hope they can change yours too.
Ian Richter-Rodenburgh
Thiccc rubber and 650b Velocity/Paul wheelset makes for smooth sailing over ancient lake beds. The Whiskey carbon fork, Chris King headset , Thompson bits and of course Nitto Dirt Drops keep me eyeing my bike like Dammm (heart eye emoji). While my Swift Ozette bag stores all my candy and libations so I can ride off into the sunset.
Tristin West
This is a Huka Duet wheelchair bike. It has an aftermarket BikeKit ebike motor and battery. This Dutch designed bike has been life changing for my son who can now easily bike with us places and go inside with us since the front part of the bike detaches and is used as a wheelchair.
Maxwell Hoagland - Specialized Allez Sprint Road bike
Kirsten Spencer - Flat Bar Crust Bombora
A bike that is good for everything! Bikepacking, commuting, and riding around town. I originally built it as a drop bar but recently have become a flat bar enjoyer. Thanks for looking!
Carolin Lehmann
While she might not be the prettiest bike around, she’s a reliable queen that I snagged off FB Marketplace for 80 bucks. I commute with her daily around Farmington. Bonus: The saddle cover is from my hometown, Lübeck (Germany)!
Olivia Bennett
All-City Space Horse in mint green. It has purple tires and purple handlebars and pink pedals! It is very cute.
Renée Draper
When you pedal this bike it makes it go 🤗 Minty lugged frame, custom Doom bars, white industries vintage cranks, cutie pie townie bike 🫰🏼
Anna Day
My Rivendell “Gladys” the Platypus isn’t just a bike—it’s a love story on two wheels. Dressed the Playy up for our elopement to the Redwoods, it carried us (and our dogs) into our next adventure. With its deep purple glow and heart-covered frame, it was the perfect ride for the perfect wedding day.
Wylie Gerrard - 1996 Gary Fisher Aquila
Vintage category. I purchased this 1996 Gary Fisher Aquila for $50, and converted it to a 1x cruiser. Original cranks, rear derailleur, wheels, seat, handlebar, brakes & brake levers. Current cassette, shifter, chain ring, bottom bracket, pedals, tires, brake pads, grips, cables & housings.
Noelle Olpin - 2009 GT Rasta Peace 29e
My old, lovable steel 2009 GT Rasta Peace 29er has been recently reincarnated with the original 4130 chromoly rigid XC fork reinstalled, loaded up Fish-Ski bags, Surly Moloko bars with colorful tape, pink pedals and peach cable housing.
Specialized Ground Control Sport tires on original rims will keep me cruising daily, original componentry (that’s 27 gears yo) and saddle as well. Christened ‘Glitter Burn’ for all of her sparkling beauty, she’s my touring, cruising, townie bestie… and when she and I go riding, I know everything is gonna be alright.
John Nelson - 1986 Schwinn Mirada
Tire clearance? Sure. Homemade handlebars and a coaster brake? Absolutely. Blown ass chain, bottom bracket, and mystery chainring? Of course. Dental insurance not required but highly recommended.
Paul component and Rivendell enjoyers can't stand the fact that this is peak bicyclin
Dylan Munn
My dream bike. Rodeo Labs Flaanimal 5.0 built with salvaged parts from a bike I crashed during COVID. It’s my go-to bike for pulling the dog or groceries around town or going on long rides in the desert. A bike you love is a bike you’ll ride.
Peyton Cox
Half enduro sled. Half dirt jumper. An abused workhorse that can give it back. It’s built more trail then most people and destroyed even more
Penelope Tinklepaugh- Classic Utah MTB mom bike. Matchy-matchy Pivot Trail 429 that doesn’t get ridden like it deserves. Has been called a “dentist bike” in certain circles. Can’t decide if that’s an insult or a compliment.
Thomas McDonagh - Old Specialized
Old Specialized bike I like it the streamers make me happy like I am going really fast .. please enjoy .. thank you for looking
Sam Shortpants - 1990 Gary fisher paragon
Fun bike. Added some stridland and doombars and ploink, it's done. That's how it went. I like red tires, I just do. I like it when my tires are red. Have a nice day
Matthew Crane - This is my bike. It almost fell in the river taking a photo.
Mike Grice - Omnium MiniMax Cargo
Liz Griffin - Rockhopper
90s Specialized Rock Hopper, named Poppy, so cute and small with a basket! Poppy was going to be thrown out, but Jeff at Loyal Cycle, got the guy to give it to me because I'm short.
Tony Krezel - SaltAir belt-drive Pinion
Custom SaltAir belt-drive Pinion gearbox steel commuter bike that gets me everywhere I need to go and more. Everything about this bike makes me happy.
Alek Konkol
This is a small bike with big ideas ridden by a completely average length of man.
Koly S - Early 90s Bianchi
Early 90s Bianchi mtb I snagged off of Craigslist for $50 converted to a gravel bikepacking rig with a sram 1x nx groupset, surly moloko handlebars, and custom frame bag by gooddaycuriosity bags.
Russell Pritchett
Sleek gray two-wheeled SUV replacement that hauls groceries up front and giggles in back, turning mundane errands into wind-in-your-face adventures while making car owners secretly jealous.
Jonny Wachter
Custom paint done by me, one-off parts, a lot of passion and time put into this build, and very well used.
Casey Carrigan - '85 StumpJumper
Tunitas front basket bag, RoadRunner frame bag, and some filthy Novara Panniers provide plenty of storage. Sometimes the Dump Stumpy can be seen hauling a B.O.B. trailer too. This bike does everything and despite its many scratches and dents shows no signs of slowing down. It's an absolute workhorse and easily my most ridden bike.
This '85 StumpJumper was pulled from a dumpster years ago, and has since been pedaled on thousands of miles of commutes, multi-day tours, and Utah single track. Notable bits include 8 speed XTR integrated index shifters, forged RaceFace cranks, XTR V-Brakes, XTR Rear Derailleur, DeerHead front derailleur, Velo Orange Crazy Bars, Brooks saddle and leather bar tape, Mavic Ceramic CrossMaxes, and of course a lil mirror.
Karina Pritchett - "Meet 'The Blue Whale' – my neighborhood spaceship disguised as a cargo bike! With its trusty orange front rack and royal rear throne, this aqua cruiser turns every errand into an expedition. My co-pilot and I collect smiles per gallon as we zoom past boring cars. Who needs a minivan when you've got pedal power and matching yellow helmets? Some haul groceries; we haul adventures!"
Mike Christensen - RadRunner Plus
I ride my RadRunner Plus almost every day! The biggest modification that I've made is adding the second battery and parallel battery adapter so that the big pulls draws power from both batteries. The dual battery configuration gives me a range on level ground of 45 to 50 miles!
Kevin Box - Tall Bike
It’s a tall bike I made from old 90s mtbs: a Trek Singletrack on the bottom, a Diamondback Serotta on top and a 24” Schwinn Thrasher fork. I lit it up with some 12v LEDs and diffuser channels I had left over from an electrical project.
Amy Andrews If you must push a bike around, it'd better be a cool one. My CoMotion Kalapuya was built up for Paris-Brest-Paris in 2023 and is now our road/gravel do everything machine. 650b wheels, a bunch of shiny fancy parts and so much fun to ride. I don't steer it, but I do everything else (power, nutrition, navigation). Once you go tandem, everything else just seems short.
Stephen Walking -Soma Wolverine COVID build
My favorite part is the friction bar-end rear shifter that has to run through a cable doubler to move the 9sp derailer enough to shift the wide range 8sp cassette. Works like a charm!!!
650b wheels; low-trail fork with handy dandy front panniers; handier dandier BroadFork handlebar purse; dynamo lighting; DI denim jean bar tape; safety shiv. It gets me around.
Cole Griesemer - This is a 2024 ⳺⧲𝌆҉⟟ ⟊⚲⨳𐑑҂
If you're looking at this with a sense of confusion, thank you. It's a pretty standard trandem handlebarred tringlespeed. Up front is a rigid triple tree, and your common 16x4 tire on a 28h 2x/1x laced wheel with a 203 rotor. This bike comfortably supports up to six arms. There are no Whiskey Co. parts, but part of it is actual whiskey, as the plush handlebar bag is filled with candy and whiskey party favors. Out back is a SS hub laced to a 60mm rim (which necessitated cutting off the canti tabs to fit), and ancient, cracking, slick rubber.
As one would expect, it has a dropper and a kickstand. Its classic Nashbar special friction shifter has the handy feature of automatically shifting into an easier gear veeery slowly, in case you got tired but forgot to shift. Almost everything on it comes in threes! 3 handlebars, 3 speeds, 3 noisemakers, 3-1 wheels, 3+1 plushies, 3*2+1 lights... it's truly too remarkable to be a coincidence! Also, it is coated in playa dust, which is either strengthening it or destroying it, depending on who you ask.
River Murdock - Velo Orange Piolet I built this Piolet to be my dream all terrain tourer. The frame is custom painted in a metallic hammered finish.
There’s plenty of storage space, including in my double decker leather frame bag, sewn by myself. I’m excited to take this out on some long desert rides this summer!
The build Includes a bunch of shiny parts from Velo Orange and Wolf Tooth components, as well some fun vintage parts like old LX cranks and Thompson stem and seatpost. A dynamo wired to a sinewave headlamp provides plenty of manpowered light and charges my phone on long tours.
Kai Cox
DEEP CUSTOM. RAW FINISH. 135 F/R. 1X7/11 // 1x1. DROOPY SEAT. 10PSI. PURPLE BARS.
Whitney Bradley - Crust Florida Man
Like a shorter, grumpier Cross Check this Crust Florida Man is a bike for bike riding, great at nothing but okay at everything. I really felt like seeing how many not black parts I could find in this day and age, and I must say the shiny silver really pleases the crowd part of my brain. I also fiddle constantly, so don’t be surprised if it looks different from this if you ever see it in public.
Marck Cuevas - 2006 KHS Flite 100 Track bike
Currently built up with Miche Pistard wheels, SRAM Omnium crank with Factory Five Chainring, Campagnolo aero post and a very well loved saddle and Specialized carbon bars.
Originally acquired the frame 10 years ago from an LA messenger and after owning it for a few years I sold it to a buddy that brought it back from the dead after the seat tube snapped. Not only did they revive this very tired frame but they decided to bling it up and brazed a second top tube. I recently purchased it back from them after they had it sit in storage for the past decade but can't wait to get more miles on it and ride it to the ground again!
Trisha Babcock
Margie Isabelle - All-City Gorilla Moonsoon
This bike is one of the last All-City Gorilla Moonsoon frame sets. Such a versatile beast and loved by loads of bike buddies for various reasons. This one is built up with a classic microshift thumbie as a 1x11 (160mm crank length, Max said I’d love it and he’s not wrong) with 27.5 x2.35 tires wrapped around some Velocity Blunt SS tubeless rims. I splurged on purple stuff from Paul Components and Wolftooth. They say anodized parts make your bike faster, but I have a feeling it’s more of a fun to cute ratio thing that makes your brain send signals to your legs and happy legs move faster. Pretty solid science. Ride bikes, get outside, be happy. Xoxo
Barton Poulson- Surly Preamble
Surly Preamble custom built as single-speed randonneuse. Parts from Velo Orange and Berthoud, assembled at Bicycle Collective and Saturday Cycles.
Chandler Hoopes - Crust Evasion bikepacking rig
Recently built up as a flat bar comfy ride, this bike will come with me on all my adventures this year that don’t require me to go

Slccylist: Grocery getter, fun haver, daily driver. Idk any of the components I just know it likes to party. Creaky like my knees so we are ment to be. Sorry I’m broke and ain’t got fancy thangs I just know it gets the job done.
Davey Davis: 1991 Nishiki Ariel turned cyclotruck. I took the raddest bad idea from the late eighties (elevated chainstays) and combined it with a pretty bad idea from the 2020’s (dynamic load cargo fork) to make the best/worst commuter bike in the world
Frame: Elevated chainstays (inspired by late 80s designs). Fork: Dynamic load cargo fork (a modern bad idea), painted to match the frame. Braking System: Cantilever brakes in the rear. Disc brake in the front. Both operated by the same brake levers
Shifting: 1x8 friction shifting—simple and functional. Cable Housing: Matched to the paint speckle. Lighting: Integrated dynamo-powered lights. Fender & Mounts: Motorcycle license plate used as a fender Front derailleur pulley mount repurposed as a fender braze-on
Design Details: Chainstay-to-cargo-rack alignment creates a perfect visual throughline Matching brake reinforcement triangles in the front and back
Cargo Capacity: Big front rack for carrying loads. Performance: Surprisingly fast, comfortable, and stable when both empty and loaded.
Jacob Brooks: Bridgestone 1992 BB1 - Swift Industries Pannier set, Brooks Saddle, Topo frame bag, and Sim Works Volummy 26", Shimano XT, Sugino crank arms.

Got this Trek 1420 off of Facebook Marketplace and fixed it up. It’s older than me and I love it. From 1993.
Mike West: I took an American Trek bike and Dutchified it for great everyday utility cycling! I put a wheel lock on it I bought in the Netherlands, a rear rack, relaxed and upright handle bar, fenders, basket, and pannier bag. This thing is great for doing life by bike.
